Introducing the 2018 Subaru Forester

We’re nearly reached the middle of July here in the Baltimore, MD area. This is one of the most exciting times of year to be part of the Subaru team because it’s when the new models beginning rolling off the assembly line and onto the lot of Heritage Subaru Catonsville. One of the first 2018 models to hit our lot was the 2018 Subaru Forester, which is compact SUV that’s packed with both off-road-oriented and comfort-oriented features.

There’s a whole lot to love about the 2018 Subaru Forester, but we’ll start with one its defining features: the Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive system. Most so-called SUVs these days will struggle if they leave the comforts of the asphalts, but this is decidedly not the case with the 2018 Subaru Forester. The vehicle’s all-wheel-drive system creates uniform stability and delivers an optimal distribution of power for maximum traction, allowing you to comfortably drive on nearly any type of terrain. The SUV is powered by the SUBARU BOXER engine which is combined with the Lineartronic CVT to deliver up to 32 miles per gallon on the highway. Also aiding the off-road capabilities are the 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, 8.7 inches of ground clearance, and X-MODE with hill descent control.

The 2018 Subaru Forester is much more than just an off-roading machine, however. Inside the cabin, you’ll find the STARLINK Multimedia infotainment system, which connects you to music, news, navigation, podcasts, and more. The wireless pairing and hands-free smartphone access allow for safe and easy access to apps like Pandora, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Aha.

Here at Heritage Subaru Catonsville, we invite you to test drive the 2018 Subaru Forester.
