With the end of 2015 swiftly approaching, here at Russel Subaru we're so excited to welcome all the 2016 Subaru models to our lot. This especially goes for the popular 2016 Subaru Outback. In 2015 the Subaru Outback was completely redesigned, and this newer and sleeker look remains for 2016 with some exciting added. This new iteration of the Subaru Outback adds things like updated shock absorbers for a smooth ride wherever you drive and new technology features. Here at Russel Subaru, we love the style, quality and ability the new 2016 Subaru Outback provides Baltimore drivers.

2016 Subaru Outback Details

When drivers first look at the redesigned Subaru Outback, they may think that this vehicle has gone more mainstream in both its look and its abilities, but fear not - while the 2016 Subaru Outback definitely sports a sleeker look than some past models, there is still plenty of ability. Take the power under the hood for example - the 2016 Subaru Outback is equipped with a 2.5-liter horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine that produces 175 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. This peppy engine is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission which can emulate a six-speed manual transmission via steering wheel mounted buttons.

The 2016 Subaru Outback is available in four trim levels: 2.5i, 2.5i Premium, 2.5i Limited and 3.6R Limited. Each trim level represents the sense of adventure that Subaru vehicles are known for. The 2016 Subaru Outback 2.5i is equipped with roof rack rails, a rear view camera and a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel.

2016 Subaru Outback Safety and Special Features

The build of the 2016 Subaru Outback is one of the most unique on the road and it really pays off for the driver. Thanks to the more station wagon-like build, the smaller roof pillars give the driver a commanding view of the road and enhanced visibility. Additionally, cargo space is abundant at 35.5 cubic feet, which increases to a whopping 73.3 cubic feet once the seatbacks have been folded down. The cabin is comfortably spacious and decked out in high quality wood-tone and metallic accents. An easy to use infotainment center is set in the center console.

The 2016 Subaru Outback is recognized with five out of five stars in government crash tests for overall safety. Drivers who opt for the 2016 Subaru Outback Premium or Limited trims will get the standout Starlink Connected Services which have automatic collision notification and emergency assistance.
