2016 Subaru BRZ: Soul of a Sports Car

The 2016 Subaru BRZ is now available at Heritage Subaru Catonsville. Available in two models – the Limited and the Premium, the Subaru BRZ comes with a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that offers up to 30 Highway MPG. Performance comes from the naturally aspirated, horizontally opposed SUBARU BOXER® engine, combining balance with power and efficiency. Direct-injection technology provides 100hp per liter without the need of turbocharging, 151 lb-ft of torque and quick acceleration to its 7,400 RPM redline. The Dual Active Valve Control System adjusts valve timing to match the engine's RPM for optimal response. For improved response, Subaru engineered the BRZ to send its power to the rear wheels. Combined with a compact, naturally symmetrical drivetrain design, you get a sports car with optimal balance and one of the lowest centers of gravity in its class. The BRZ is designed to be more compact, with the engine placed as low as possible and farther back in the chassis. This rear-drive layout allows for near-perfect balance for pure sports car handling.

The 2016 Subaru BRZ was intelligently designed with all the little digital luxuries in mind. The new SUBARU STARLINK in-vehicle technology with Pandora® app integration brings smartphone entertainment, communication and information to your dashboard through an in-dash 6.2-inch adaptive touch-screen. Bluetooth® hands-free technology lets you manage your phone and audio system by voice and controls on the steering wheel. Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones link directly through the Subaru audio system. BRZ features an 8-speaker audio system with an in-dash CD player, MP3 playback capability and SiriusXM™ All Access Radio, offering up to 170 channels of music, sports, news, weather, talk, and comedy in high-quality digital sound. It also includes HD Radio with iTunes® tagging capability, Aha connected services, USB port/iPod® control, and a 3.5-mm auxiliary jack.
