When drivers near Ellicott City usually think about family-friendly vehicles, minivans and SUVs are what usually come to mind. However, for the more adventurous family that wants a vehicle that takes them off-roading to the most remote campsite, there is the 2016 Subaru Impreza. This new Impreza blends a roomy, tech-filled cabin with the Subaru brand's well-known handling, ride quality, and all-wheel-drive, for a vehicle appropriate for staying here in Baltimore or going on an adventure.

Now available here at Heritage Subaru Catonsville, the 2016 Subaru Impreza is available in either small sedan or hatchback form in three different trim levels. Even the base 2.0i trim is packed with cutting-edge features on the interior, such as a trip computer, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, a 6.2-inch touchscreen interface, and a four-speaker sound system with CD player, USB/iPod integration, HD radio, and auxiliary audio input, and smartphone integration with Aha, Pandora, and iHeartRadio. Meanwhile, the Starlink Cloud apps and news function adds a ton of convenience by including weather, news, and calendar functions as well as a plethora of other music sources.

Since this new Subaru car is still a Subaru, it goes off-road with the best of them. The Premium hatchback trim adds roof rails, foglights, body-color rocker panel extensions, and includes the Alloy Wheel and All-Weather package items (heated mirrors, a windshield wiper de-icer, heated front seats) as standard. Under the hood, the two lower trims come standard with a five-speed manual transmission coupled to an all-wheel-drive system with a 50/50 default front/rear power distribution. The four-cylinder engine produces 148 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque.
