You know that proper car care is important, but do you know when you should be bringing your Subaru car in for service? At Heritage Subaru Catonsville, we can tell you the correct Subaru maintenance intervals and make sure your car stays in top shape all year round.

3,750 Miles

This is the first major service interval. Right around 3,750 miles, or every three to four months, you can bring your car into our service center for an oil change and a new filter. We'll also check fluid levels and tire pressure, and we offer a multi-point inspection as well. If our mechanics notice any issues, we'll fix them.

7,500 Miles

Now it's time for another checkup. We'll do everything mentioned above, but we'll also replace the cabin air filter and check if you need wiper blade replacements.

15,000 Miles

At this milestone, we'll check on your brakes and your battery. This is also a good time to lubricate locks and hinges to prevent future damage. Our mechanics will also check for recalls and test for any engine issues. We might even decide to road test your Subaru car to see how it's holding up.

30,000 Miles

This is another recommended time to check in with your mechanic. In addition to some of the services already mentioned, our team will also see if you need the brake fluid flushed or replacement spark plugs, among other items.

60,000 Miles

At this point, it's a good idea to examine the steering and suspension systems, along with the drive belts, tires, wheel bearings, and fuel lines. Generally a mechanic will check out every important system in your car at this milestone and make sure that everything is in working order!

If you want your Subaru car to last a long time, a commitment to routine maintenance is a necessity. Visit our Subaru dealership serving Baltimore and find expert mechanics, official Subaru parts, and a state-of-the-art facility that you can depend on!
